Overview
Focused Uranium Exploration in the Athabasca Basin
Appia’s Otherside Uranium Property is a highly prospective project strategically staked on top of a ~49 km long electromagnetic (EM) conductor with significant potential for uranium mineralization. The unique structural bends/breaks within the property’s EM conductor are considered comparable in style to characteristics associated with major Athabasca Basin uranium discoveries such as NexGen’s “Arrow” deposit, UEC/Orano’s “Shea Creek” deposit, and more.
Appia’s Otherside Uranium Property spans 10,441.88 hectares across 6 claims in northern Saskatchewan and is 100% owned by Appia. The property covers a highly prospective corridor within the broader Davy Lake area, where historical operators including Strathmore Minerals Corp. and Fission Uranium Corp. completed exploration between 2005–2010, confirming strong uranium exploration potential.
To date, Appia has advanced evaluation of the Otherside Uranium Property through several magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical surveys, which have helped define key geological features and identify priority target areas. More recently, interpretation of the airborne gravity and magnetic survey, together with the ground magnetotelluric (MT) survey, has outlined multiple high priority targets that are supporting a planned 2026 -2027 drill campaign aimed at unlocking Otherside’s uranium potential.
Empowering Local Communities
Eastside’s operations hold the potential for significant positive impact on local First Nations Athabasca Basin Residents. Work, resource discovery, and employment expansion serve as cornerstones of Appia’s commitment to fostering economic growth and sustainability within these communities.
Strengthening Saskatchewan's Uranium Supply
The project aspires to bolster Saskatchewan’s uranium supply, further solidifying the province’s pivotal role in the global nuclear energy sector.
Contributing to a Cleaner Energy Future
Participation in the global shift towards cleaner energy usage remains a primary goal. Eastside’s focus on delineating uranium resources aligns with the growing demand for nuclear reactors, crucial for applications in submarines, medical, industrial, and defense systems.
Aiming to be a Global Leader in Cleaner Energy
As the world transitions to cleaner and more sustainable energy sources, Appia aims to play a central role in meeting global demand by harnessing uranium resources found at its three uranium properties, including Eastside.
Economic Growth and Community Empowerment
Economic growth within Saskatchewan, particularly for the First Nations Athabasca Basin Residents, is a key focus. The discovery of uranium resources at Appia’s uranium properties stimulates economic development, job creation, and empowerment of local communities.
Meeting Global Uranium Demand
Eastside recognizes the rising global demand for uranium, particularly as countries seek reliable, low-carbon energy sources. Nuclear power’s role in reducing carbon emissions and ensuring a stable energy supply has garnered renewed interest, and Eastside is poised to responsibly meet this demand while safeguarding the environment.

Location
The Otherside property presents an opportunity for mineral exploration within the north-central Athabasca Basin. Situated approximately 28 kilometres south of Fond-du-Lac village, this strategically positioned property offers prime access to this renowned mining region.
Coordinates
Central Coordinates:
Using the UTM NAD83, Zone 13N coordinate system, the central coordinates of the Otherside property are approximately 356,250 metres east and 6,540,050 metres north. (Figure 1)
Exploration and Development:
With its favourable location and precise coordinates, the Otherside property provides a strong foundation for Appia’s exploration and development initiatives.
Targeting High-Grade Uranium Mineralization
The Otherside Uranium Property is positioned on top of a highly prospective structural corridor in northern Saskatchewan, where regional-scale structures and conductive packages support a strong uranium targeting thesis. Appia’s decision to stake Otherside was driven by a combination of geological context and district-scale geophysics consistent with popular high-grade uranium discoveries in the area.
A primary feature of the property is a ~49 km electromagnetic (EM) conductor with structural bends and fault complexities, interpreted as potential fluid pathways that can trap uranium mineralization.
Otherside also shows geophysical similarities to major uranium systems in the region, including deposits such as:
- “Arrow” – NexGen Energy Ltd.
- “Shea Creek” – Uranium Energy Corporation (UEC) & Orano Group
- “Millenium”: Cameco.
- “Phoenix”: Denison Mines Corp.
Appia’s targeting approach is guided by proven uranium indicators, including:
- Gravity lows, which can reflect hydrothermal alteration;
- Magnetic lows, which may indicate alteration and/or structural preparation; and
- EM conductors, particularly where they are bent, segmented, or faulted.
The EM conductive signatures extend along a major regional structural trend known to host high-grade uranium deposits.
Recent geophysical gravity interpretations have highlighted multiple priority targets to support a focused 2026-2027 drill campaign.
2026 Plans
In 2026, Appia plans to advance the Otherside Uranium Property through a focused, data-driven program designed to test high-priority uranium targets associated with the property’s 49-km “bent/broken” EM conductor and coincident gravity and magnetic low anomalies.
- Ground Magnetotellurics (MT) Survey (Q1 2026): Complete a ground SPARTAN MT survey along the ~49 kilometer faulted/sheared EM conductor trend to map subsurface resistivity, key faults/shear zones, conductive zones, and density contrasts, with results integrated with Appia’s 2024 airborne gravity and magnetic data to refine high priority drill ready uranium targets on the Otherside Property.
- 3D Modeling (Q2-Q3 2026): Integrate all datasets to build a 3D geophysical model identifying structural controls and target geometries most favorable for high-grade uranium mineralization.
- Diamond Drilling (Late 2026 – 2027): Execute strategic diamond drilling to test the most compelling targets where EM conductors, magnetic lows, and gravity lows coincide for favourable for uranium deposition.
- Program Logistics & Community Collaboration: Continue staging operations from Fond du Lac, Saskatchewan, maintaining and strengthening collaboration with local Athabasca First Nations throughout field activities.
- Partnership & Funding: Appia will continue pursuing potential partners and investment opportunities to accelerate exploration and maximize the pace of advancement at Otherside.
